She saw a boy in a bed, he looked ill and sad,he was thin and he had blond hair.Mary told him that her uncle was Mr. Craven and Colin told her that he was his father.They discovered that they were cousins.
Colin also told to Mary that he was ill and he was going to die,and nobody went to visit him.She talked with Colin about his mother`s Garden and that it was a secret.
Then she told him about the moor,Dickon,Ben and the robin and Colin listened interesting.
Mary went to Colin's room every day and they read some books.
One day Mrs. Medlock and Dr. Craven discovered them,the man said that Mary couldn´t visit him.but Colin said that she made him better.The doctor was very angry when he left the room and the housekeeper told him that the boy was changing : He wasn`t cross with the other people and he looked better. Dr Craven had to agree.
CHARACTERS:
- Mary Lennox: She had a thin angry face and thin yellow hair. She was a very selfsh,disagreeable,bad-tempered little girl. Mary never thought of the other people,only in herself,but in the end she became to be a kind girl.
- Colin Craven: He was a sickly boy. He looked who looked ,tired and cross,with a thin,white,tearful face.
- Mrs. Medlock: She is an old woman,she was the housekeeper of the manor,she was tall and thin.She usually wore a black dress.
- Dr. Craven: He was Colin's doctor, and his uncle. He was brother of Mr. Craven. He loocked like an indian prince.
